The Outstanding Young Pharmacist, 2021 award, supported by MEDITOP Pharmaceutical Ltd., was won by Dr. Márió Gajdács, who received her pharmacy degree from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Szeged in 2016 and her PhD degree in 2019.
He is currently working at the Department of Oral Biology and Experimental Dentistry. He is conducting research in the field of microbiology and epidemiology.
His cumulative impact factor is over 200 and his independent cites are over 1360.
The Outstanding Young Pharmacist PhD student award was won by Dr Balázs Zoltán Zsidó, who graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Pécs in 2019, and has been a PhD student and assistant professor at the Institute of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapeutics of the University since then.
During the epidemic, he published a computer-assisted drug replication study against SARS-CoV-2 virus, and in vitro testing of the compounds is currently ongoing.
