On March 27th, students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biotechnology of the University of Pécs visited the MEDITOP site in Pilisborosjenő to gain professional insight into the processes of modern pharmaceutical production.
During the programme, state-of-the-art technologies, manufacturing processes and quality assurance procedures were demonstrated, thus contributing to the students’ practical knowledge. We are particularly pleased to be able to support the training of future professionals by strengthening cooperation between academia and industry.
The presence of the lecturers accompanying the students, Dr András Fittler, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr Szilárd Pál, Associate Dean of the Faculty, also contributed to the professional importance of the visit. The visit also included a brief discussion, where we had the opportunity to learn about the Faculty’s strategy for the coming years and to explore future cooperation opportunities.
