The Medicina Forum Yearbook Awards, founded by health journalist Erzsébet Tóth Nógrádi, were presented on 17 November. The book, now in its 10th edition, was presented at a gala event in Budapest. At the gala, 12 awards for excellence were presented to professionals in various fields of healthcare.
“The sponsor of the Medicina Yearbook, MEDITOP Pharmaceutical Ltd., founded in 1991, has established a special prize for four years in the category of outstanding young pharmacists for pharmacists who have made outstanding achievements in pharmaceutical research”, said Dr. Péter Gaál, President of the Hungarian Society of Health Care Managers and member of the jury.
Based on the jury’s assessment, the special prize of HUF 1 million will be shared between two young pharmacists.
Based on the jury’s assessment, the Outstanding Young Pharmacist 2022 award went to Dr. Ágnes Rusznyák, Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, University of Debrecen, and the Outstanding Pharmacist PhD Student 2022 award went to Dr. Bence Sipos, PhD student at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Pharmaceutical Surveillance, University of Szeged.
The prizes were awarded by Dr. Dávid Greskovits and Dr. Zoltán Ács, Managing Directors of MEDITOP Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Prof. Dr. Árpád Kovács, Chairman of the Budget Committee, Chairman of the Jury and Erzsébet Nógrádi Tóth, President of the Jury.
