Mr. Mihály Varga, the Minister for National Economy has put into operation at the handover ceremony on Meditop Ltd’s premises in Pilisborosjenő the O’Hara FC C75 continuous film coater installed with a total value of HUF 300 million, as the first of its kind in Europe. This equipment offers a unique solution for tablet coating both for R&D purposes and for big industrial batches.
The machine ensures the most modern pharma production technology for the coating of tablet batches of 6 to several hundreds of kilograms. This technology renders - due its short coating cycle - an exceptional possibility for the coating of heat sensitive and low hardness tablets.
The equipment is capable of working in a continuous mode of operation, enabling a flexible and economical increase of production batches, thus giving a competitive edge to the company.
The procurement of the machine of highest world standard was made possible by the resources of New Széchenyi Plan as well as Pillar I. of the Growth Loan Programme of the MNB (Hungarian National Bank). The financial arrangements of the above resources were executed by banking partner K&H Bank through tailor-made financial advising. The bank also helped Meditop Pharmaceutical Ltd. by providing a complex growth supporting financial solution, thus opening the way for Meditop to make further progress and reach its business goals in the long run.
